Effective January 1, 2024, we are the proud operators of the City of Gonzales Municipal Cat Shelter, also known as Gonzales Pet Adoption Center (GPAC). This facility provides a medical center, backyard, adoption suites, and lots of space for us to continue our life-saving mission to save the cats in the City of Gonzales. We are located at 505 St. Francis St. in Gonzales, Texas. Come visit us or learn more about our volunteer opportunities!

Adoptable Pets
We have many adoptable cats and kittens available at our facility! All cats are free-roaming which allows them to thrive in our pet adoption center while visiting with guests. We welcome visitors to learn more about our mission or simply to visit to socialize with the cats! Adoptable cats are $75 which includes spay/neuter, FVRCP and rabies vaccination, microchip, and flea prevention.

Our Mission
Kingdom Rescue 'dba' Gonzales Pet Adoption Center is dedicated to improving the lives of animals in need. Our mission is to show compassion to neglected and abandoned animals in rural parts of Texas and through our public outreach efforts we will address the overpopulation of pets in our community.
Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return (TNVR) Program
From education to medical care, GPAC offers a variety of programs to support the community. We have launched our TNVR program for the City of Gonzales effective in January 2024. We are partnering with local animal control and City of Gonzales to implement targeted TNVR to address "hotspot" areas with unsterilized community cats. This community cat program is fully funded by the City of Gonzales and Kingdom Rescue donors. Contact us to learn more or sign up as a community cat volunteer!
Foster a Kitten!
We rely on dedicated fosters to help our life-saving mission. If you are an experienced neonatal kitten foster or cat foster, please contact us! We will need the community's help during kitten season this year! If you do not have any experience, we encourage you to also apply!
Volunteer Opportunities
We also rely on dedicated volunteers to help us run our facilities daily operations! Volunteer opportunities range from doing laundry to litterbox duty. Any help is appreciated! We also accept remote-only volunteers who have skills in graphic design, content writing, grant writing, and more.
